Chapter 2: Dead by Dawn
The stripped-down horror of The Evil Dead wouldn’t pack the same punch a second time. So, they did what all good horror sequels do and upped the gore. Then they kept going. Then they went just a little further, and turned Evil Dead 2 into a blood-soaked looney-toon horror show.

Chapter 3: Hail to the King, baby
The Evil Dead films have never held back, so when it was time to leave the cabin, the third chapter went way outside the cabin. Army of Darkness sends Ash (chainsaw hand and all) back in time to fight a Deadite horde alongside King Arthur.

CHapter 4: RAining BLood
20 years after the last release, the Evil Dead series picked up a new director (Fede Alvarez) and returned to its vicious beginnings. Evil Dead is brutal and horrific, with a bloody finale that takes the series’ grand guignol sensibility to a new level.

Chapter 5: Mommy loves you to death
Just like the original trilogy, the re-launched Evil Dead knows you shouldn’t do the same thing twice. Evil Dead Rise takes us into the city for the first time, and draws inspiration from all the films that came before, serving up its own unique mix of blood, humor and horror.

Chapter 6: Family is the root of all evil
More than any film since the original, Evil Dead Burn understands just how cruel the deadites can be. After the restrained (at least by Evil Dead standards) urban horror of Evil Dead Rise, we go back to the country for an uncompromising blunt instrument of a horror film.
