From their basement studio, two lovably aimless metal-heads broadcast a public access talk-show called "Wayne's World", but things get messy when a sleazy network executive tries to claim the show for a big-budget version. Like the movie surrounding it, the headbanging singalong of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” walks a fine line between satire and celebration.

All three Tenenbaum children are extraordinary, and virtually all memory of that brilliance was subsequently erased by two decades of betrayal, failure, and disaster. Most of this was generally considered to be their father's fault. Like most of Wes Anderson’s films, the soundtrack here is impeccable, including classics from Nico and Elliot Smith.

Whether you’re watching Sam Rockwell dance to “Simon Says” by Pharoahe Monch, or Crispen Glover doing some very fun, very goofy kung-fu while The Prodigy blares in the background, Charlie’s Angels is very much a film of its time. Thankfully, that time was very good at making stupidly fun movies.

Do you like Huey Lewis and the News? In '87, Huey released Fore!, their most accomplished album. Their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip To Be Square". A song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It's also a personal statement about the band itself.
