Teenagers in a small town are dropping like flies, apparently in the grip of mass hysteria. But the carnage is soon traced to Fred Krueger, a man burned alive by angry parents years before. Now Krueger is back, haunting in the dreams of his killers' children and claiming their lives as his revenge.
After he and his family move into the former home of Nancy Thompson — a survivor of dream-stalking monster Freddy Krueger — Jesse Walsh is bedeviled by nightmares and inexplicably violent impulses as the sadistic Krueger seeks his return.

The Djinn, having been released from his ancient prison seeks to capture the soul of the woman who discovered him. Though possessed of infinite power, the Djinn has limits, and must pursue his goals by manipulating the wishes of mortals.
When a couple of nice, young homebody ghosts (Baldwin and Davis) try to haunt the pretentious humans who have moved into their house, they ask for help from a demonic wraith (Keaton) they cannot control.
