Hard work and charisma found Tenzing (Genden Phuntsok) working on British expeditions to Everest in the 1930s, but nearly two decades would pass before he joined the team that would finally ascend to the world’s tallest peak. Organized by John Hunt (Willem Dafoe) and Edmund Hillary (Tom Hiddleston), their survival would ultimately depend on Tenzing’s skills, dedication, and profound courage. Directed by Jennifer Peedom (Sherpa) and gorgeously photographed by Stefan Duscio (The Invisible Man).
